I would have to think a 120 ft boom would whip around fast on anything!!!! I sometimes move too fast with our "little" 60 ft boom. But, I think I know what you are saying in terms of quick turning tracks. Our local Bestway dealer doesn't like to see sprayers on tracks if possible because guys tear the booms up easier.
