Gavogel, the fan demise was the L bolt on top of the radiator breaking, letting the schroud hit the fan, fixed that with 4 flats and some bolts . You might want yo check yours. As far as reverse, we would plow around the field in A range so it was there to use to back into corners, even the slow R1 was to fast. Maybe it was so fast because mine came with 18-4-42's. Ours was used year around so seldom seen a shed , cables were always an issue, with wheat, cotton ,corn and cattle the weather took it's toll. We had trouble with the gear pump, when the nut came of the shaft, and let the gear chew on a hyd valve plate. Years latered the shaft broke in the new pump, the very small shaft is the common drive for all three gear pumps. Installed new 2 speed in the quad at 6000 hrs and it was still good till it was parked. Also had to rebuild schonizers in back for high and low . Will admit the engine was good till the injector issue ,hindsight tells use should have been rebuilt.
