| For Christmas Santa is thinking of bringing me a new hay rake!! ;) I got to tell him which one. I was looking at 3 point mounted, 5 wheel rake. I make mostly grass hay. I have a wheel rake now but it is pull type and I get huge balls of hay when I turn around and mess up the ends. I was hoping I could eliminate that with this mounted rake. One friend told me that the one he had was no good and would just bounce around over the hay and he could get a good clean sweep with it. His was a 4 wheel. So would you guys share your thoughts on a 3 pt 5 wheel rake? any brands to stay away from or ones to get? Or should I be looking at another type of rake? I have some small fields I make hay on and a big multi wheel rake is just too much rake. Thanks for sharing your experiences and knowledge! | |
