It is my understanding that the catch with the John Deere RTK system is a string of data packets related to the RTK-Extend. If you look at the NavCom website, it appears that their are some NavCom branded pieces which could work if you can get past the RTK-Extend feature on the GS1/GS2: http://www.navcomtech.com/Products/GPS/
