Subject: The local shop showed me how to adjust, but.......

But it is worse. I turned it 2 or 3 notches counterclock wise and adjusted the linkage dealing with the peddle and it is all worse than when I started.

I tryed the ring 3 notches clockwise and 3 notches counterclockwise. Nothing but bad results. It really grinds now. I must shut off truck to get into gear.

Well, I have a load of corn on so I will dump it by shutting off the truck when needed to change gears to get going and stop at the the local mech. as it is in the same town as the elvevator and see what they say again.
