We always fill ours with anti-freeze. We can do our JD sprayer and booms with 10 gallons of 50/50 mix. That's pretty good considering the amount of plumbing that thing has. We usually use the regular green anti-freeze per recommendations of our dealer. We usually use used anti-freeze out of one of our tractors, trucks, etc. If not 5 gallons of new isn't too terrible.
