We dont notill all of our ground. Most of it is the lighter soils that have good crop rotation so ruts arent an issue. If we are notilling beans into corn stubble and it gets rutted from harvest or sprayer passes when wet we will go in with a shallow disk and level those spots or in severe cases use a normal chisel plow/soil finisher to level the affected spots.

With that said, once ground is long term no-till the soil structure change and soil appearance change is amazing. Its not like im trying to convert anyone to a new religion or change political parties here, this is just a fact from 20+ years of seeing these changes here in our area. I cant speak for other areas and soils.
