halfway between Lapeer and Port Huron, MI | Maybe they should start weighing the big gravity wagons, in Michigan I can carry 18,000 on an axle with a 9' spread so 36,000 on a single axle truck (with super steer tires on a class A road). J&M makes a 680 and a 700 and something wagon 680 bu @ 56 = 38,080 divided by two axles makes 19,040 I'd get a ticket in my truck plus safety inspection but it's ok for the wagon? Michigan does allow a farm truck coming out of the field at harvest to be 10% over on an axle but you can not exceed your gross. |
