One thing I would emhasize is make sure you have all the check valves, safety shut downs, etc in place.  We have elected not to do any chemical or fertilizer injection due to the proximity of a municipal well to our pumps.  It's a half mile away, but we don't want to open ourselves up to any possibility of liability that way.

Every time it is mentioned dad brings up the story of the guy who inadvertantly pumped a trailer load of 28% into his well one night when the pump shut down.
