Subject: RE: Norac Boom Height Control

SE MN
Been running one for 4 years and I have my second John Deere sprayer with it on and I would not want to spray with out it. I have the 3 sensor unit and don't have terraces, but do have some hills and rolling ground and it works great. I usually run at 12-13mph and it works just fine, but if you have a deep waterway or ditch you will need to slow down so it can keep up. The Norac rep claimed under 15 mph it should be fine depending up what kind of sprayer and it's hydralic capacity. You are able to stay between the rows a lot better because you don't have to constantly turn around and worry about your booms hitting the ground and you also do a better job of spraying because you keep your booms closer to the ground.
