Subject: Re: cheap steering on autosteer ready?

We recently purchased an Insight to put in our auto-steer ready MX 275. This tractor will be used for planting. The Insight will be moved to the combine in the fall for harvest. To control the tractor's auto-steer when the Insight is in the combine we also purchased a Ez-Guide 500. NO need to buy the Ez-Steer, or at least there wasn't in our situation. Think we had to buy a couple different cables & a different mounting bracket. Tractor at that time will be used on an in-line ripper & possibly applying AA

The Easy-Guide by itself was around $2995. We did have to buy the Ez-Steer for the combine & the two combined were aprrox $6,500. That also allows us to use the Ez-Guide & the Ez-Steer in the 4wd tractor in the spring during tillage and after harvest.
