Subject: Re: Stubble Stompers

Boog, we have a neighbor that ordered their new 9660sts with the big logger tires instead of duals this year. They've had the logger tires on a Kinze 1050 cart for a couple of years now and they really liked them on the cart. Our tire guy doesn't seem to be real fond of duals on combines, they are great if you can keep the weight spread evenly accross them but when you go through a dip or waterway it puts most of the weight on two tires and the sidewalls don't last long when doing that with a 12 row head and a hopper topper full of corn. If we weren't running a six row corn head we'd look into the floater or logger tires for our combine.
