Subject: RE: Ag leader or greenstar yield monitor?

North central North Dakota

I put a PF3000 Agleader in my 9610 a couple of years ago.  I was debating on going with a deere system but the deere was more money.  I put a cheap GPS antenna on the unit and download the data into my Farmworks software.  I did not plan on using the PF3000 on any other piece of equipment so purchased it to stay on the combine.  I feel the accuracy is very good as long as it is calibrated as instructed.  I think I paid $3000 for the yield monitor and kit plus another $250 for antenna.  The newer ag leader unit looks nice but for the money at the time I felt I am getting the data that I needed.

I bought an old Parker weigh cart last year to have my own yield calibrator.  That 100+ bushel cart on wheels has been handy for other projects also.
