| The one thing that I have seen as a drawback to the direct command system on a deere sprayer is that it controls the boom switches without talking to the Spray Rate Controller on the sprayer. This can cause erradic spray rates when coming out of headlands. We are a John Deere Spray center and have delt with several such systems. It does work, but can be a challenge in certain situations. I'm not tellin you not to go with the system, just understand how it works and what the limitations are. By the way, you can put Swath Control Pro onto a 4700 by upgrading the CAN and SRC. I have 7 4700's using it right now, and it works like a champ. | |
