Carthage MO | Hello i am wanting to get started with AG GIS work, i have had GIS trainning in college. My employer wants to start a GIS program up for our farm. What i want to know is which AG GIS program would be good for what we need. We are wanting to do soil mapping, yeild mapping, and even variable rate mapping along with other functions.
Some important functions are compatibility to our EZ.Guide 500 guidence system so we can keep a good record, and a cost under $2000.
I have talked to MapShots and they seemed to be a good program do anyone know of any falts of MapShots. Also that goes with other ones if you know of any PROS and CONS of any AG GIS program would be great
