Interesting results you got there Don. I didn't realize how much of a difference in performance there was between some of the cheaper Garmins and the more expensive Trimble receivers. Do you have any scatter plots of JD's SF1 and SF2? How about any scatter plots of Omnistar's XP and HP? If you ran a scatter plot for a straight 24 hour period, could you assume that the horizontal accuracy seen over that 24 hour period would be the same repeatability you could expect a week, month, or even year later? In that 24 hour period that you sampled for, wouldn't you see the same satellites orbit the earth roughly two times? Would that be the equivalent to the total amount of satellite drift one might expect year in and year out?
