NE MO & W IL | I have been using SST Summit for 4 years now, to do that. You can pull up aerial imagery by town or lat/long (from terraserver), and then draw your boundries. You can then export them as shapefiles for you planter tractor computer or print a map. I wasn't for sure what you meant, but you can do either scenario.
Farworks' FarmSite will also do this. You actually pull up county road maps and then down load imagery based upon location. Different way to do it, but I'm actually starting to prefer it over Summit's method. It is easier to find the fields if they are not close to a town and you don't know lat/long.
I think SMS can do this also. All three would be good choices and relitively cheap. Any GIS software under a grand, I call cheap now days. | |
