Arlington, KY | The problem is with the accuracy of the signal you are using. Say if you are clutching down to two rows and have an entry-level GPS you could have rows turned off when they sould be on. Or the other way around. This is a crude way of explaining on my part but I hope you get my point. The smaller the boom sections are the more accurate GPS you will need. We run 24 row planters with 2 row shutoffs and use RTK. I'm not saying you need RTK for 2 rows but you will need something like HP or SF2. Hope this helps! | |
