dko_scOH - 9/11/2013 19:09 Years ago my neighbor was installing plastic tile when they cut through some ancient wooden tile that was still carrying water. Imagine two 1-inch by approximately 9-inch boards nailed at 90 degrees, with the open end down. Every few feet there was a small piece of lath nailed across the bottom to keep it rigid. Cheap, and more effective than a gravel drain.
  old timers in our area have talked about wooden tile such as this but i have never seen it.
