The newer ones are called EZ-Steer 500 but the only difference with them is the firmware and that can be changed back and forth
The EZ-Guide Plus needs the 3.00.01 installed on the T2 box and the 500 needs the 4.01.00 firmware installed on the t2 box.
So yes they both will work on the 500 just have to flash the right firmware if it isn't right.
