| sorry if I was unclear. but yes I want to leave the big antenna up and then be able to move the base to a different location if needed. and for multiple reasons it would be a lot handier to access the base on ground level. and if there is a problem with the antenna be able to lay it down to repair it.
about the lightning, would it be any more apt to get hit on a power pole or a grain leg?? cause we do get our share of big storms
has anyone done this or seen it done with the height of 100' or am I crazy
