| As perhaps a little additional explanation. In the old days, prior to all of these bureaucratic rules, since I represented a very large volume of trade I had created a wide array of sources who might just be friends, or folks that might want an opinion as to how to handle something...sometimes, in those situations, there were frequently situations when X closed a deal over dinner & called me for some information...I suddenly knew something big was afoot. Or, fellows out partying with overseas buyers..have a few too many & call me for something & again I knew something might be afoot. I have enough trouble on this forum. Many of these folks were confidential sources. Because I knew a lot of people, I was considered a source & I shared info with folks who shared info with me. Most are retired now..or living abroad..but might get upset if suddenly their name was blabbed on TV. And, I am capable of such as when those glaring lights pop on, I can go into brain lock. | |
