We run a NH 411 discbine and a New Idea 5409 disc mower. In fescue, we sometimes run them side by side. I notice no difference in curing time. I thought there might be, but there was not. Therefore, the 5409 is used unless we need two machines at the same time.
We also use a tedder. It cuts a day off the drying time.
