-From 150 to 230 gallons fuel storage
-New 9.8 liter seven cylinder in the S78 and S88. S88 is rated at 430 hp, no word on a power boost. Seeing how the S78 version has a 451 hp power boost (over 375 nominal), the S88 should be "healthy"
-All engines are tier 4 final compliant, twin turbo chargers, SCR and cEGR. No DPF.
-New two speed rotor gearbox with reverser
-Higher speed chopper with stronger drive
-Larger diameter accelerator rolls (25%) made from polyurethane instead of rubber
-Larger cleaning fan, 34% more air
-Larger pulleys on some of the drivers for better belt wrap (22-27% bigger diameter)
-Improved clean grain elevator system, rated for 5000 bushels per hour
-Beefed up the rear feeder house conveyor and sped it up from 6 to 10% over the front
-Carries over the standard variable pitch radiator fan and heavier header drive introduced last year (although article words it like the header drive is stronger yet?)
-New optional ground drive transmission with two-speed hydraulic motor for shift on the fly, 30% larger pump
-S88 is 16500 lbs lighter than the nearest competitor
