Subject: RE: Lifting Seed Pallets w/ Front End Loader

we made a pallet fork to put on our 5400 w/540 loader 4wd, and it picks up a full pallet pretty easy, wouldn't hurt if you had some weights or something on the rear to keep the back from wanting to come up. Ours will lift it but its a good load for the tractor. Also we keep the pallets about a foot or so off the ground once we get them off the semi or trailer so in case the rear decides to lift up, the loader can hit the ground so it don't throw you frontwards. A 1520 seems pretty light to lift a full pallet but i have no experience with this tractor or loader so i can't say if it would or not but our 5400 will
hope this helps,
justin
