Subject: JD 925 Header Dividers for Wheat

Have a JD 925 Header (1999 model) with the 2 piece poly dividers. I have always used the long dividers to do wheat and soybeans (had a 6620 with a 215 flex head). I see in the parts book there is a hooped rod that can be used in place of the outer plastic divider making the header a lot narrower to store on the header wagon. JD part #AH147232. Does anyone use this attachment in place of the outer divider in wheat or beans? Any advantage or disadvantage? One advantage I can think of is the outer longer divider may help in downed wheat.
thanks........ whipper
