Subject: RE: KW T800's & Cummins N14's

I am conviced on the big block as well.

The truck in question I believe has a AG 200 (90% sure)....but could be 100. What kind of miles can I expect out of it before a costly rebuilt? I have heard they can cost some $$ to fix if let go? Or is it really just bushings that go for the most part? I have also heard that for a little more when a AG200 needs rebuilt it can be converted to a AG 400 relativly easy and with little added $ which solves AG 200's problems a little. Any merit to that statement?

I know you mentioned you like the Cat...but how do you seriously like the N14 Cummins? The truck in question has this motor a '98 N14 and we are mainly familiar w/Detroit (what we happen to have at the moment).
Good points? Bad? Life expectancy (rebuild/major work) of it vs the CAT's and Detroit 12.7's?
*The last question I would really like a answer to for general knowledge if others would chime in*

The truck also has been on a hopper all its life.....mostly highway w/older gentleman farmer driving it. Well kept and super clean FYI.

Thanks
