If you asked me to describe which lever does what on the road grader I would struggle a bit, but I can hop in it and reach for the one I need without having to think about it. What really gets me about that thing is most all tractor power shifts move to a higher gear as you push the stick forward. The Cat grader is just opposite, don't know how many times I have been plowing snow and clicked that lever forward at 10 mph anticipating pressure from the seat and instead I get tossed onto the wheel. Worse yet, if the hand is still on the stick the cycle repeats before the foot can get to the clutch.
