In my opinion, in order to extract value out of yield data, the information needs to be georeferenced. There are a number of economical choices for a GPS receiver that will work well for yield monitoring. For example:

Is there a better system for the money? Dealer will install for around $3500(quite a bit of labor as it is not prewired).
