Auburn, Indiana | Farm Works is 100% behind these efforts and we will be participating in this. I really hope that there is participation from all those in the industry who are creating or using precision ag and field record data. In the end it's our customers who stand to gain the most by the adoption of open data standards. Farm Works has fully embraced FODM as it's made it possible for us to more easily import and export both non-spatial field record data along with the spatial aspects. I know others in the industry have not supported FODM, and I hope if nothing else that we could have some good discussions as to what the best method is for future data exchange.
Again, I hope that the other farm management and precision ag software and hardware companies will participate in these efforts.
