Subject: RE: Squash Bug control in Pumpkins

Oklahoma
The beehives are only a vehicle width away from the edge of the pumpkin field. We planted in a pattern that when the pumpkins are fully grown, there will be a 10-12 ft border around the field to harvest the pumkins and letting them get to the hive. Their hives are right at the treeline. I would think anything we spray has a chance of drifting even if the bees aren't on the pumpkin blossoms, they are still very close. I don't want to chance killing the hives.
