Not to be a smarta$$, but have you really tried to dial in the ATU. I run a ATU in of a Buhler 435, and I would say I can get the system to preform as well as my integrated systems, you just cant engage it as soon. I have found that even small adjustments in the numbers makes a really big difference. The key is to finding the combination of the 4 numbers that work the best by only changing one at a time. It took me probably 8 hours of adjustment, and the first field looked pretty goofy, but once I got it, I am more than happy. I know I have neighbors that have it, that said they were going to get ride of it, they couldnt understand why they couldnt get it to preform the way I could, I spent some time with there systems and got them dial in and havent heard them complain yet. Keep in mind we dont do row crop work so I the find the ATU to be acceptable. I dont know what you are doing with it and your findings may be different than mine, I am just offering my experience.
