Glasgow, Ky | Many of the PCA's just got caught up in the desire to loan money. Got too big too fast and many people suffered for it. As someone pointed out the BTO's were making the PCA magazines and the other farm magazines all the time. The farm "experts" were falling all over themselves to praise these forward thinking people for showing the rest of us how to farm. Some of them made a go of it in farming. Some did not. Some got part of their loans forgiven. That did not sit well with me and many other farmers. Some took bankruptcy.
After reading this thread and many others it makes me feel good to know there are still people around whose word means something to them. That there are people who care about their neighbors feelings when making business decisions and just want to do what is right. I appreciate each and every one of you and hope that you are blessed for it.
