A 20' will work just fine, like they said you wont be going too fast but I would rather push a big head slow than a small head fast, seems like you get more done slowly but dont push any beans over.

I am looking for a bigger head for this year too and from what people have been telling me putting a JD 220 on it would be a good deal. I've only ran my 820 1 season and wasnt too impressed after running 1020's and JD 900's and 200's for other people. But I have had just as many people say they love thier 820's as have said they hate them. I have found a late modle 20' 820 that is new enough to have the tear-drop style steel reel and a JICase tag on it for $950 so I'm still undicided.

I never had feeding problems I just couldnt get it to cut low enough for me.
