Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I mounted my Insight in the upper right corner of the cab in the 8000 series tractors utilizing the Ram Mount system.
The bracket I made consists of a piece of flat steel with holes to attach it to the cab trim strips. It took some trial & error to get the angles and the hole spacing correct.
This location does block the right interior mirror. The mirror can be moved to the left side. I actually have two interior mirrors.
This location allows the Insight to be tipped back slightly if necessary to reduce glare. I also have the NuShield protector on my screen.
