SE SD | Pioneer told us that we could have any variety of seed for $26, I laughed at him and told him if they were free I would not plant them. When pioneer gave us free seed one year from a corn # that flopped, the beans were 15 bu. less yielding. We just can't raise them. I had a neighbor that said they are either your best or worst bean, he said most of the time they are the worst. We ended up this year with nk at $ 24 a bushel, but we also ordered alot ofthem, the dekalb and mustang were $28.51 and $29. | |
