Subject: How much moisture left in your soil?

Looking at soil moisture maps and the Palmer drought Map it looks like the Western corn belt is going to go into corn pollinization dry while the East has excessive moisture. I know maps doesn't get a good handle on actual conditions so is the west going to run out of moisture and is the east too wet delaying maturity? Here in Southwestern Ontario, I have some fields that will have enough moisture for pollinization but a nice slow rain for 24 hours would be real beneficial.
