Subject: RE: Where is JD mounting color screen in combines?

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
The location shown in the photo is essentially what I have done with my Ag Leader Insight. For me at least, glare is a problem unless the display is mounted in specific locations. This location is not exactly ideal but I prefer it over Ag Leader's location of the side window. When the unit was mounted on the side, it blocked my view somewhat and forced me to look at the display at an angle. My eyesight is poor and due to the strong correction of my glasses, I can't see much when looking to the side.

I use the Ram Mount system to mount the Insight in my tractors and combine. I've found that if I mount the display so that a line perpedicular to the face intersects the cab ceiling, the glare is reduced to a very tolerable level. The Ram mount allows me to tilt the face back slightly.

I have Ram Bases permanently mounted in the three tractors and combine. This allows me to move the Insight display quite quickly as needed.
