| Planted some spring barley into a winter wheat stubble this spring. Only had 2 days between spraying and drilling and the thicker areas of growth of wheat stubble have had a huge impact on the establishment of the barley.
I was led to believe that roundup has no impact on germination due to being inert in the soil but it appears if you no till a seed in and put it next to a root mass where the leaves had absorbed roundup recently then it seems to have a clear effect. Are we told of this on the label because I didn't read it?
Any other similar experiences? Where i notilled a field that had been sprayed three weeks prior with roundup there is not a problem.
p.s. also did use robust rates 4l/ha of 360g glyphosate.
