Alsace 47°52'46"N 7°24'30"E | I think you should investigate into the battery packs used as charging battery for cameras like the power packs seen on professionnal outdoor tv crews, or build a power pack based on a car charger, and replace the cig plug by an attachment to some other battery.
I would try to achieve an autonomy of 2 hours and change batteries every hour or so, to keep a very light weight. Carrying batteries for 8 hours can be quite a weight, especially on the last hours! |
