This has got to be a joke, just to get a rise out of people. That said, the only shields I have taken off are the ball shields around the universal joints on my mower. The only way I have been able to get a grease gun on them is to remove the shield, and I don't put them back on. All the other shields are on, and I usually end up buying or making new ones for any used equipment I buy that doesn't have them.
Anybody Leave the Shields On a Combine?
