Subject: RE: Giving up on StripTill

Our community has been talking about it for several years and there are only two units operating in the county. We grow 1500 acres of corn, the rest beans and wheat. How I can justify 60M for a twelve row unit or 70M+ for a 16 row unit and only use it on 1500 acres. To add insult to injury how do you justify useing it on rented ground. How can you get the landlord to pay some of these tremendous costs when yields are determined by rainfall patterns more than tillage practices.
