| Anyone have experience bending or forming uhmw 1/4 0r 3/8 material with heat to get more accurate form fit. Hot air gun, torch, mom's iron, sis's hair frizzer, branding iron, clamp and set in the sun? I have an IR temperature sensor which should help. At what temperatures is it mallable? I also have two hot water heater elements which I'm considering mounting is a thin wall square tube and fill with oil or water to transfer heat. Should make a good bomb if it doesn't work. Any advice appreciated before I hurt myself. | |
