Central SD
We're having a conversation here about a $5000 computer that doesn't work right if we start our machine a certain way? What determines at start-up whether or not you get the loading screen (green status line under the JD Sign). Sometimes I get the load screen usually if I haven't ran for awhile. Most of the time it just boots back up to last screen I was on at shutdown. The display didn't want to shut down for me a couple of times also. One time I think I did the reset and unhook like you did, the other time I decided to wait it out. It took awhile, maybe 5 minutes, but it eventually shut down. I've always turned the key quickly and haven't tried firing the system different ways. Unless the display is unplugged, it is powered. So unless there is a surge coming thru ignition, I don't understand how the way one starts the machine should matter. I appreciate you all giving your input here. If somebody does get some answers, post what you find out.
