I think that you can lower the regular spinners by buying a new hex drive shaft or getting one from a local welding shop and then add the new style cupped blades on the spinner. I believe you should end up with half cupped blades. Then add a pan and a maybe a little belting to get the chaff to the spinners. This should give you good chaff spreading. Replacing the fixed knives in the chopper with sickle sections helps the chopping too.
