I could be wrong but I thought Dad all ways told me an H had 23-25 hp from factory that being the case a 15 hp electric would handle the load quite well sure hope you have 3-phase for that is going to be tough to get a 15 hp 1-phase so if you have three phase maybe put a 20 hp on there will only cost 100-200 more and a motor will only use the required electricity to pull a certain load so if not under a load will not use anymore power than the small one but will probably last a lot longer than a small motor being overloaded.
