If you are updating from SF1 to SF2 or RTK, you can use the same receiver. You just need to get the additional accuracy activated. Get your pricing for SF1 and SF2 before you start so you know what to expect with your present and future decisions.
I have people successfully planting corn with SF1, SF2 and RTK. They are all happy with the accuracy they have chosen to purchase.
The only other thing I can add is most people get addicted to accuracy!
