Lukerduke made some good comments. Those basically are the same comments that I get from customers running sf1 to plant corn. Since you have an even planter / head split you should be happy. I've spent a lot of time walking around behind corn planters running sf1 / atus measuring the guess rows to dial them in. Most will run 30" rows right on all day, with the odd 26" or 34" thrown in there once or twice a day. SF1 is not a complete marker replacement, you have to be ready to babysit if from time to time. This is what *I have observed, and may not apply to your area, conditions, equipment etc* - demo it from your dealer, and be sure what all the upgrade costs to SF2 are.
