Subject: Sweer corn problem

My early planted (April 12) sweet corn is tasseling and starting to pollinate and theirs no shoot or silks to pollinate. just bare stock and leaves. Its candy corn and illinois extra sweet. I guess it will be disappointment to the coons, and tickel the heck out of my wife. I guess it was just to dry early and the moisture all when to keep the plant alive. Never had this problem before in 50 plus years of farming.
