Sunnyvale, CA | The EZ-Steer system must be used with either an EZ-Guide Plus or EZ-Guide 500. The Ag132 could be used in two different ways. One is to feed RTCM corrections from the beacon into the EZ-Guide Plus or EZ-Guide 500. Another way is to feed NMEA messages from the Ag132 into the same EZ-Guide models and by-pass the internal GPS receiver in the lightbar. There is not enough compute power within the Ag132 do drive the EZ-Steer motor directly.
Your original Ag132 can be updated with version 1.55 that can be used with the new WAAS satellites 135 and 138. You may get that version from the Trimble web site at http://www.trimble.com/aggps132_ts.asp?Nav=Collection-4361 | |
